Seren V. Wald writes science fiction at the scale of deep time — the author of The Standing Wave trilogy and its companion Vel, and of the Silicon Serpents cycle. Wald's subject is coherence: what holds — across centuries, across species, across the gap between one mind and another — when everything is free to come apart.

The prose is spare, giving nothing away until the single moment it must give everything at once. Wald is a private, contemplative author — heard and read, but not seen, content to let the work do the speaking.
